The best class at assmebly

We were the best class at assembly. 

We sat up nicely.

We sang amazingly.

We were quiet when it was listening time.

100 Days

Kaitlyn brought 100 bubble wrap bubbles.

Tremayne and his dad drew 100 smiles.

Dinel brought 100 pieces of paper and 100 sticks.

We are making 100-eyed monsters.

Robin is colouring his monster.

Crazy monsters, boys!

Sophia and Jessie are making 100 Day glasses.

Summertime Reading

 Tents are great places for a quiet read with friends. Sija, Kaitlyn and Sophia  didn't even need to go outside!

Sija's Poroporoaki

Sija invited Room 9 to her Poroporoaki.

Check out her cool chair. We really liked her big heart.

 We love Play Centre's big sandpit.

Tui came with us and responded to the Karanga for Room 9.

Tui pushed a lot of people on the swing!

Tui is a cool RED friend.

Making Kites

We made kites with our friends from ABC Learning Centre.

We coloured our kites to make them look beautiful.

 We cut out our kites carefully.

 Our kites look amazing.

 We tested them on the field.

Dog Safety

On Thursday a dog ranger called Rebecca came to talk with us about dog safety.

We learnt some important ways to keep safe around dogs.








If a dog's on its own - leave it alone!







Check it is sweet - before you meet!

Ask permission from the owner before going up to a dog.

If a dog has a snack - keep well back!








Keep your face - out of their space!

Don't run and shout - it freaks us out!


Stand still with your hands as fists. Be quiet and try not to stare straight at the dog.
